That was the worst blast we have had in some time.

The upstairs of my house shook and trembled under my feet with that blast as it has in the previous years of blasting .. but I’d say the blasts are 100% getting worse lately and it’s just a sign of what’s coming as the quarry expands

The blast just now at approx 14:05 was incredibly strong on top Garth Avenue and significantly larger than anything I have ever experienced here.

Just to let you know following blast at the Quarry today a number of complaints have been made they have been reported to planning

Not at all happy having like mini earthquakes when the quarry blast. Had sewerage all over the drive as the pipes have moved. Had to replace walls outside  that have got cracks in & falling down

Today’s blast was again ridiculous I’ve made a formal complaint

Doors and windows trembled bad , seems to be getting worse each blast .. only tells you one thing

Just called the quarry to ask whether that massive shake to my house was a blast.. and it was! 

Well that was a hell of a blast. I was outside, you could feel it under your feet. The noise was tremendous

That blast was absolutely ridiculous, it woke all the childrn up in the house, the while fitted wardrobes shook against the wall. It’s getting out of hand now ,who do I out a complaint in to??

Are they joking i literally dunno how to deal with these blasts im petrified

There will be nothing left of the houses on this estate if they carry on blasting like that! Shook the whole house and was so loud it  scared me half to death!
